With the cooperation of Al-Jazira Sports and Cultural Club, Emirates Medical Society has organized a specialized workshop about using medical bandages in treating sport’s injuries. The workshop lasted for two days on a row at the medical unite in the club.
Harry Binapple and Bochum Drohnin delivered the audiences with lectures in which they gave a detailed explanation about the mechanism of bandages in healing injuries.
The workshop included a theoretical part as well as a practical one in which the participants have taken the chance to see the importance of medical bandages in healing sports injuries.
The medical staff in the club, a number of several medical centers’ representatives and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated in the workshop.
Muneer Khater, Executive Manager of Al-Jazira club, and Mohammed Adnan Al-Armouti, Deputy Executive Manager, have monitored the workshop for the two days. Khater stressed the importance of taking advantage of modern technologies in treating sport’s injuries which players might face in the different sport’s activities.
