Al Jazira and Sharjah settled a six-goal thriller after playing out a 3-3 draw at Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium on Friday.

Francisco Alcacer broke the deadlock after 14 minutes when he timed his run perfectly to head in Caio Lucas' cross.

Three minutes later, Ali Mabkhout restored parity for Al Jazira when he lashed a superb first-time volley into the bottom corner of the net.

The ADNOC Pro League all-time top scorer grabbed his brace and put his side ahead when he capitalized on a defensive mistake to cut inside the box, before lobbing the ball over the goalkeeper.

Caio Lucas grabbed the equalizer when he ran onto a superb upfield pass from K. Manolas to break the offside trap and drill the ball into the back of the net.

Abdalla Ramadan gave the lead once again to Al Jazira in the 38th minute when he stepped up to curl a superb free-kick into the bottom corner of the net from the edge of the penalty area.

Ten minutes after the hour-mark, Sharjah was awarded a penalty kick as Caio Lucas stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to make it 3-3.

The result means that Sharjah is now topping the ADNOC Pro League's table with 13 points, while Al Jazira remains second with 11 points.
