Al Jazira reached the semifinals of the UAE President Cup after beating Al Ain 1:0 today at Zabeel Stadium.

Ramon Mierez scored the only goal after converting Nabil Fekir's brilliant cross with one touch into Khalid Eisa's net.

Shabab Al Ahli was the first to qualify for the semifinals after defeating Ajman 2:1. The quarterfinals will be concluded on Monday and Tuesday with two matches, the first will be between Al Wasl and Kalba at Sharjah Club Stadium, and the second will see Sharjah battling Baniyas at Hazza bin Zayed stadium. The semifinals draw will commence at the same stadium after the end of the last match.
