Al Jazira returned to winning ways with an impressive 3–0 victory over Ajman at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, in Matchweek 12 of the ADNOC Pro League.
The hosts settled the contest in a dominant first half, scoring through Mohammed Rabii and a brace from Nabil Fekir in the 22nd, 33rd, and 36th minutes. The victory ended Al Jazira’s recent winless run following a draw and a defeat in the previous two rounds.
Al Jazira showed their attacking intent early, with Vinícius Melo testing Ajman goalkeeper Ali Al Hosani inside the opening 10 minutes. The breakthrough arrived when Mohammed Rabii fired home a powerful strike to open the scoring, also registering the 200th goal of the current league season.
Fekir then took control, doubling the lead with a fine individual effort before adding the third just three minutes later, a goal confirmed following a VAR review.
After the break, Al Jazira maintained control and came close to adding a fourth, but Ali Al Hosani denied Mohamed Elneny. Ajman attempted to respond but were unable to create clear chances, as the match ended with a comfortable home win.
The result lifts Al Jazira to 21 points in fifth place, while Ajman remains ninth on 13 points.
