Joao Pedro scored a hat-trick as Al Wasl secured a 5-0 win over Al Jazira at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Matchweek 20 of the ADNOC Pro League.

The result lifts Al Wasl to 33 points and into fourth place, while Al Jazira remains at 30 points and slips to fifth.

The visitors wasted no time, as Joao Pedro opened the scoring in the 7th minute with a confident finish that set the tone for what would become a long night for the hosts.

As the first half entered stoppage time, Jonatas Santos doubled the lead with a sharp effort in the 47th minute, giving Al Wasl a comfortable cushion heading into the break.

The second half belonged to Joao Pedro, who completed a stunning hat-trick.

He struck again in the 64th minute, finishing a clinical team move, before adding his third, and Al Wasl’s fourth, in the 73rd minute with a powerful strike that left no doubt about the outcome.

Substitute Tahnoon Al Zaabi added the fifth goal in the 81st minute, capping a flawless night for Al Wasl and sending their traveling fans into celebration mode.
