Al Jazira produced the most dramatic comeback of the ADNOC Pro League so far when they scored twice in stoppage time to secure a 4-3 win over Al Nasr on Friday.

A typically incisive Al Jazira counter-attack sent Ashraf Bencharki clear on the left as he sent a low cross to Abdalla Ramadan, whose spectacular strike past the outstretched hands of goalkeeper Ahmed Shambih to give Al Jazira the lead after 20 minutes.

Seven minutes after the break, Al Jazira was awarded a penalty kick due to a handball on Al Nasr's defender Glauber Siqueira Lima. ADNOC Pro League's all-time top scorer Ali Mabkhout stepped up and stroked the ball into the bottom corner to make it 2-0.

Ryan Mendes reduced the margin for Al Nasr three minutes after the hour-mark when he towered above Al Jazira's defense to fire a powerful header into the back of the net.

The visitors turned the game on its head in just six minutes as Adel Taarabt hit the equalizer with a first-time shot into the back of the net.

Three minutes before the time, Samir Memisevic completed the comeback for the visitors after climbing above Al Jazira's defense to head in De Carvalho's cross.

The Pride of Abu Dhabi refused to give up and leveled the scoring in the stoppage time with Ali Mabkhout's superb first-time volley from inside the box. The hosts then snatched all three points from the spot when Ali Mabkhout stepped up and drilled the ball into the bottom corner.

The result means Al Jazira sits fourth with 40 points, while Al Nasr is now ninth with 23 points.
