Al Jazira settled a six-goal thriller at Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium after sealing a 4-2 win over Al Bataeh on Monday in matchweek eleven of the ADNOC Pro League.

The Pride of Abu Dhabi took a deserved lead after five minutes when Khalfan Mubarak conjured up a brilliant assist for Mabkhout, who rounded the goalkeeper and netted from a tight angle.

The momentum was with Al Jazira, and it was no surprise when they extended their lead in the 23rd minute from a penalty spot as Mabkhout made no mistake from the spot, burying the ball in the corner.

Anatole Bertrand pulled one back and reduced the deficit for Al Bataeh after towering above Al Jazira's defense to thump Saeed Ali's cross into the back of the net.

Khalfan Mubarak scored one of the most outrageous goals of the season and cemented the Pride of Abu Dhabi's lead when Al Bataeh keeper Zayed Ahmed was well off his line. Then with a beautiful swing of his left boot, Mubarak pinged the ball into the near corner of the goal.

Anatole Bertrand grabbed his brace and the second goal for the hosts in the 72nd minute with a brilliant diving header into the bottom corner of the net.

Zayed Alameri secured the three points for the Pride of Abu Dhabi when he was teed up by Abdoulay Diaby inside the box, as Alameri kept up his composure to drill the ball into the back of the net.

The victory means that Al Jazira sits sixth with 20 points, while Al Bataeh remains 9th with 12 points.
