Al Jazira delivered a crushing 6-1 victory over Dibba Al-Hisn in Matchweek 5 of the ADNOC Pro League, solidifying their position among the top teams.
The match, held at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qassimi Stadium, saw Al Jazira take full control early on, extending their point total to 9 and moving up to third place in the standings.
On the other hand, Dibba Al-Hisn remain at the bottom of the league, still without a point after five consecutive losses.
From the opening whistle, Al Jazira dominated the match.
Vinicius Mello struck first, finding the back of the net in just the 5th minute, setting the tone for what would be a relentless offensive display.
By the 12th minute, Bruno De Oliveira doubled the lead, and just three minutes later, he added another with a powerful header to put Al Jazira comfortably ahead at 3-0.
De Oliveira completed his first-half hat-trick in the 23rd minute, making it 4-0 and leaving Dibba Al-Hisn struggling to contain the wave of attacks.
Al Jazira’s explosive start was one for the record books, becoming only the second team in ADNOC Pro League history to score four goals within the first 23 minutes of a match—a feat last achieved by Al Wahda in 2017.
The second half saw Al Jazira maintain their dominance.
Bruno De Oliveira scored his fourth goal in the 51st minute, pushing the score to 5-0.
A controversial moment followed when Dibba Al-Hisn had a goal disallowed due to a foul in the penalty area.
The referee awarded a penalty to Al Jazira, which Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny calmly converted in the 61st minute, marking his first goal in the ADNOC Pro League and becoming the 12th Egyptian player to score in the league.
Dibba Al-Hisn managed to score a consolation goal in the 67th minute through Midana Bigna, who made history as the first player from Guinea-Bissau to score in the league.
However, the goal did little to change the outcome, as Al Jazira comfortably saw out their emphatic 6-1 win.
