Keizer: No Time for Disappointment and Al Orooba will be Tough

Marcel Keizer insisted his team have no time to duel on sorrows after being eliminated from the Pro League Cup and urged his players to shift their focus to the upcoming league match against Al Orooba, which will be difficult and complicated as it will be against a very disciplined and organized opponent.

“We are very disappointed after the exit from the UAE Pro League Cup because we wanted to reach the final and fight for the trophy, but we have to recover and bounce back immediately because we don’t have the luxury of time. We must shift our focus to Al Orooba game as it's only coming in 48 hours after Al Ain’s game,” said Marcel during the pre-game press conference.

“The players are exhausted after playing six consecutive matches during a very short period, and we still have two games in hand, which means we will play eight matches in less than one month. We will focus only on recovery sessions, and we will wait until the last hours before kickoff, to get the full picture about the fitness situation of all the players”.

“Al Orooba are well organized and very disciplined in defense, and we watched their last game against Al Ain where they managed to get away with a very important point, and we also watched their game with Al Nasr where they equalized the score at the 97th minute. It will be a tough and complicated match and we will have to maintain the highest possible level of concentration during the 90 minutes, and be decisive in front of their goal to score from the chances we may create”.
